What a joy and faith filled celebration it was at Youth With A Mission Kona, Hawaii for YWAM Founder Loren Cunningham’s 88th birthday. Even with little advanced notice, friends and family gathered from near and far to enjoy the laughter, faith building stories and cake!

Last Friday (June 16th), Loren had had a very full day and was quite tired. He was scheduled to Zoom in the evening at 8:00 pm to the Go Persia Conference, made up of YWAMers in three of the "stans". He said to me, "I'm not sure I will have the strength to do a full two hours, Dar."

Thank you again for the outpouring of love, support and PRAYER that Loren and I are experiencing in this “going home” season of his journey. He was sharing with some people just the other night how he was in excruciating pain last November when this cancer was first diagnosed…

As you are probably aware, Loren was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. However, by the grace of God, he is committed to “finish well”…

Soon after getting his stage 4 cancer diagnosis, YWAM founder Loren Cunningham took time in March to be filmed as he shared a message for future generations…
